Here are ways to protect your cat!
1. Don’t give your address to pet stores even if they offer points.
These people are not bonded and pet thefts go on every day by groups that know your address and can lure your animal. They then shuffle them to other cities or provinces and foster the cat for several months and then sell your pet for 250-350
This is disgusting pet trafficking
2. Shelters have pet rescues on speed dial and sell your pet after 3 days; especially Quebec shelters to Ontario pet rescues.
3. Licensed people pay for stolen pets to sell at a high price to laboratories where terrible scientific experiments take place
4. Immigrants from many countries actually EAT cats even though the Government tells all new immigrants not to eat pets.
5. Restaurants serve cat and dog meat with uber eats, it’s difficult to prove and the health department is clued out.
6. Sadistic devil worshippers use pets as sacrifice in raising powers.
7. Teenagers torture pets out of boredom and for the thrill of it
8. Vindictive maids, trades people who had access to your home would know of your pet being indoor outdoor
9. Jeolous x lovers or frenemies are prime suspect
10. Sadly coyotes foxes owls large crows in packs and eagles and vultures swoop down suffocate then eat the cat by surprise quick above attack
11. Men who run dog fights use cats to train violence in dogs so need a constant supply
Note that many pet rescues are unlicensed unregulated and make up stories about your pet being abandoned or unwanted or the owner dying to sell your pet at the large adoptathons net lucrative profit
why would there be over 1,000 in Ontario alone if it wasn’t profitable?
This is on top of the city run shelters on tax payers dollars.
Microchips can be easily updated with lies about the owner dying and especially if you forgot to update your cell info.
Once you lose your cat, it’s like a needle in a haystack with no stream lined connected lost pets platforms and takes 18 hour days to search online and put up posters go on foot search shelters and knock on doors
It’s mentally and emotionally painful and the terrible high anxiety and expensive to hire detectives, pay platforms, pay ethical hackers, time off of work for years!
It’s the deepest grief and you lose trust in humans because everyone is a suspect.

Protect your pet by setting up cameras in your yard and home changing the locks that are imported and bump proof and garage remotes too.
